An Alabama teacher pleaded guilty to inappropriate sexual behavior with three high school boys who were her students between August and October 2014.

Ashley Parkins Pruitt, 30, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student and two counts of porn distribution to a minor, the Associated Press reported.

Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey said Pruitt was arrested in November 2014 and charged with sex crimes involving three underage former students.

Pruitt, who is married and has a son, worked at Locust Fork High School from 2012 to 2014 and at Appalachian High School from 2014 to 2015, where she taught English and physical education.

Pruitt allegedly had oral sex with one student and made out with another student, both under the age of 19, in a car, the Daily Mail reported.

She also reportedly told another student under 18 that she wanted to take his virginity and sent him explicit pictures of herself.

Under the plea deal, Pruitt was sentenced to 15 years in prison, will have to pay both a $1,000 fine for each count and a $100 Crime Victim Compensation, and register as a sex offender, according to the Daily Mail.

AL.com reported that for charges of two counts of distributing pornography to a minor, Pruitt is “sentenced to one year with six months to serve.” Additionally, Pruitt must pay a $25 Crime Victim Compensation Fee, as well as a $250 fine on each count.

“I am pleased we were able to resolve this case before trial. These three boys have already been subjected to enough public scrutiny as a result of Ms. Pruitt’s actions,” Casey said. “It is not easy for victims of sexual predators to appear at trial to discuss such personal and private matters with 12 jurors and a room full of spectators.”
