NBA Investigating 'Disturbing' & 'Offensive' Audio Recording of Clippers Owner

The NBA is investigating an audio recording TMZ released in which Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling tells his girlfriend not to associate with black people and to never bring black people to Clippers games.

“We are in the process of conducting a full investigation into the audio recording obtained by TMZ,” the NBA said in a statement on Saturday during a weekend in which every playoff team is in action. “The remarks heard on the recording are disturbing and offensive, but at this time we have no further information.”

The Clippers play Golden State on Sunday and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver had previously planned to be in attendance.
