Federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents reportedly executed a search warrant at the Paisley Park estate of the late musician Prince Tuesday evening.
The late Tuesday raid at Prince’s Minnesota home and recording studio complex is part of an ongoing federal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s death last month at the age of 57, according to CNN.
Local sheriff’s detectives are also on scene, according to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
“Detectives are revisiting the scene at Paisley Park as a component of a complete investigation. No other information is available,” the sheriff’s office tweeted Tuesday evening.

Prince — real name Prince Rogers Nelson — was found dead in an elevator at Paisley Park on the morning of April 21. His death came six days after his private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Illinois, where the musician was reportedly rushed to a hospital and given an anti-opioid “save shot.”
The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that the musician saw a Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg on the day before his death; the family medicine specialist was reportedly scheduled to deliver test results to Prince at Paisley Park the morning the musician was found dead.
Sources told TMZ that federal investigators are investigating Dr. Andrew Kornfeld, who was reportedly present at the Paisley Park complex at the time Prince was found dead. Kornfeld reportedly had a backpack containing synthetic opiates in his possession.
Investigators have not yet released a cause of death for the late musician. The results of an autopsy conducted April 22 could still be weeks away.
