In a 2-minute video released earlier this week, State Rep. Jimmy Matlock, a Republican candidate for Tennessee’s 2nd congressional seat, lays out how he worked with a constituent that led to an effort by his state’s government seeking a recall of a reported “defective guardrail end.”
That guardrail end is tied to at least 11 traffic deaths across the country, and according to a report, four of those were in Tennessee.
Matlock is seeking to fill the seat currently held Rep. Jimmy Duncan (R-TN), who is not seeking reelection in 2018. He is one of seven candidates vying for the GOP nod.
