Connolly: We’ll Have to Deal with Impeachment Inquiry Decision ‘as a Congress’

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) stated that deciding whether to move with an impeachment inquiry is either at the top of the agenda or moving towards the top, and “we’re going to have to deal with it as a caucus and as a Congress.”

Host Steve Kornacki asked, “So, you and your colleagues are due back in a couple of weeks to Washington, maybe a little bit less. Is this at the top of the agenda, deciding whether to move forward with an impeachment inquiry?”

Connolly responded, “If it’s not at the top of the agenda, Steve, it’s certainly moving up to the top of the agenda. It can no longer be ignored, and we’re going to have to deal with it as a caucus and as a Congress.”
