Bradley Cooper’s model girlfriend, Ariana Shayk, 29, was accused this week by Spanish paper El Mundo of having an affair with scandal-ridden 79-year-old FIFA president, Sepp Blatter.

The Madrid-based publication published a piece Friday titled “All the Women in Blatter’s Life” that alleged the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition cover girl was one of Blatter’s “many lovers.”

According to El Mundo, Blatter “had a relationship” with Shayk after he ended his relationship with tennis player Ilona Boguska, and before he entered into another relationship with new girlfriend Linda Barras.

A rep for Shayk told the New York Post:

The rumors regarding an alleged romantic and/or personal affair with Sepp Blatter by El Mundo … are a pathetic attempt at defaming Ms. Shayk and are absolutely not true. We have no intentions of further acknowledging these allegations as they are wholly unfounded.

Blatter, who had just won a fifth term as FIFA president, resigned this week after a corruption scandal exploded, which led to the arrest of seven top FIFA officials in Switzerland last week.

According to the Post, the arrests were among 14 indictments in an FBI investigation that alleges officials accepted bribes and kickbacks over the past 24 years, which total around $150 million.

Shayk had been in a five-year relationship with Madrid international soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, but the couple called it quits this year after rumors that Ronaldo had been unfaithful and was linked to multiple women.

The Post also reports that Blatter mocked Ronaldo in 2003, saying that Barcelona forward Lionel Messi was his favorite player.

“One has more expenses for the hairdresser than the other, but that doesn’t matter. … There will be a contest again this year at the Ballon d’Or. I like both of them, but I prefer Messi,” said Blatter.
