Rapper and former presidential “candidate” Waka Flocka Flame has his sights set on a new (and arguably more attainable) leadership position – Speaker of the House.

Flame, real name Juaquin James Malphurs, released a new campaign video for his Speakership run in which he concedes that he was “too young” to run for president, and “anyway, that’s not where the real power is.”

“Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a rapper,” Flame says in the Funny or Die clip. “But it was always a means to the end, you see: my real dream was to run Congress. That’s why I’m officially announcing my candidacy for Speaker of the House. That’s right, you don’t have to be a member of Congress to be the number one dude.”

As Speaker, Flame promises he would take legislative action on “cool things” like “marijuana, women’s rights and gun control,” while pledging to block “stupid sh*t” like “trans-Pacific partnerships, voter ID laws, and building a wall around Mexico.”

Flame also couldn’t resist taking a shot at Paul Ryan, the presumptive successor to the outgoing John Boehner.

“You don’t want Paul Ryan: Mall Cop as Speaker of the House. You want Waka f***in’ Flocka f***in’ Flame,” he said. “There’s no law against it, and it’s the job that I want, and it doesn’t pay much, just $223,500 a year, but weed is legal in D.C. as long as you smoke in your house, and I’m definitely gonna smoke in my house… of Representatives.”
