New data from social media show Arizonans are the most concerned in America about running out of toilet paper.

“The western US seems to have the most activity, with Arizona seemingly the top state most concerned about toilet paper availability,” said Ryan Taylor of HealthTrends.com, according to PinalCentral.com.

The website compiled geotagged twitter data in the last two weeks, tracking discussion about toilet paper and the “panic buying” that has occurred amid coronavirus fears. This includes hashtags such as #toiletpaperpanic and #toiletpapercrisis, as well as several others.

The site lists the top ten most active on social media seeking out more supplies:

  1. Arizona
  2. Wyoming
  3. Utah
  4. Nevada
  5. Idaho
  6. Hawaii
  7. Colorado
  8. New Mexico
  9. California
  10. Maine

The panic to obtain T.P. has sparked fights and wild scenes around the world.

In Britain, women duked it out in a grocery store aisle:

In Canada, a shopper was relieved to be able to obtain toilet paper, and told CTV he may use it to barter for alcohol.

“I don’t know that we’re going to make it through this,” he said. “But now that I’ve got my stock of toilet paper, my family will be safe.

“When we go to the barter system, which will be very shortly, in my opinion, I think that my toilet paper is going to be able to be traded for alcohol, which I think is more important,” he added.
