Cuccinelli: McAuliffe 'Scared to Death' Obamacare Sinking Campaign

On Monday, Virginia Republican Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli said Democrat Terry McAuliffe, whose lead has been diminishing, fears he may lose the gubernatorial contest because of Obamacare’s failures.

“I’m scared to death about what Obamacare is doing to Virginians. Terry McAuliffe is scared to death what Obamacare is doing to Terry McAuliffe,” Cuccinelli said at a campaign stop before Tuesday’s election. “Tomorrow, we need to have his fears fulfilled.”

As the Associated Press noted, Cuccinelli, as Virginia’s attorney general, “was the first to file a lawsuit trying to declare the federal health care law unconstitutional.” In contrast, “McAuliffe has embraced the law and has pledged to use it to expand Medicaid in the state to provide health coverage for 400,000 Virginians.” McAuliffe also said Obamacare did not go far enough, saying he favored a “single-payer” system.

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Cuccinelli said a McAuliffe administration would threaten the liberty of Virginians because Democrats will want to the take the next step after Obamacare is implemented and force doctors to take Medicaid and Medicare patients.
