Teen Vogue: VA GOP Win Due to ‘Whitelash,‘ ‘Incendiary Race-Baiting Propaganda’ — Dems Not Progressive Enough

In light of Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin’s Tuesday win against former governor Terry McAuliffe, Teen Vogue claimed conservatives are “actively building a movement around whitelash” and “incendiary race-baiting propaganda,” as Democrats abstain from “focusing on what actually makes them different” and fail to “make a compelling argument about why they should win,” blaming their losses on having not been progressive enough.

Republican Glenn Youngkin Won in Two Democrat-Controlled U.S. House Districts in Virginia

With Virginia’s election results coming in early Wednesday morning, showing a Republican sweep of all three statewide races as well as wresting majority control of the House of Delegates, Democrat U.S. Reps. Abigail Spanberger (VA) and Elaine Luria (VA) now represent districts won handily by Republican Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin, according to data from the Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP).

An election loss by Virginia Democrat Terry McAuliffe would spell doom for Democrats in the 2022 congressional midterms as well as the 2024 general election, warned Vice President Kamala Harris Friday evening.
