The long knives have come out for videographer David Daleiden, no doubt because his expose of Planned Parenthood’s trafficking in baby body parts has cut to close the bone.

Abortion supporters are trying desperately to throw the public off the scent of what really happens in Planned Parenthood facilities and they certainly do not want people to look at Daleiden’s video anymore, because views are up to 2 million and each viewing cuts against the reputation and credibility, not to mention the business model of Planned Parenthood.

No, they want to shift attention to Daleiden and smear him as best they can.

A long hit piece appeared today at the Daily Beast which is full of innuendo, even lies. Samantha Allen can’t even bring herself to say that David Daleiden founded the Center for Medical Progress; she says, “he lists himself” as the founder, as if he’s even lying about this.

The piece quickly goes downhill from there. Even though Dr. Deborah Nucatola discusses the range in pricing for various body parts, Allen says the conversation between her and Daleiden wasn’t about selling fetal tissue but rather “a discussion of legal forms of fetal tissue donation”

Allen mentions Daleiden’s “now deleted bio that appeared on the website for Live Action Films,” Daleiden’s former employer. That “now deleted” is supposed to raise flags for Daily Beast readers that something fishy is afoot, something other than the fact that Live Action does not have bios on their website for former employees.

Allen goes into Daleiden’s investigative work with Live Action including one of the very first where Lila Rose, Live Action’s founder, posed as a 13-year-old who had been impregnated by an older man. The Planned Parenthood nurse coached her on how to lie about her age to get around reporting requirements for statutory rape. Allen says only that the nurse “appeared” to coach her. Any honest person who has seen that video knows exactly what that nurse was doing.

Allen writes about an amazing 2011 investigation where Live Action actors posed as a pimp and a sex worker asking for abortions for underage prostitutes, girls — though fictional — would also be victims of human sex trafficking.

The Planned Parenthood personnel laughed about it and advised on how to get around the law. Allen thinks it’s a big deal that corrupt U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was asked about this at a House Appropriations hearing and said, “prosecution was declined in this matter.” A lack of prosecution proves nothing, given that prosecutors tend not to prosecute hypothetical crimes. The purpose of the investigation was to show the callous indifference and willingness of Planned Parenthood personnel to ignore human rights abuses.

Allen brings up a 2011 Live Action investigation where a Planned Parenthood employee guaranteed a dead baby to a Live Action actor. Even if the dead baby was born alive, she assured the actor that the baby would stop breathing in the toxic solution she would be placed in. The nurse assured the actor she would not have to take home a live baby. Allen says this did not happen. Read the transcript can see that it did.

Allen then goes into the lower forms of hit pieces, guilt by association. Daleiden was friends with a controversial journalist named Charles Johnson. Daleiden has been friends and received praise from James O’Keefe, the hero videographer and bête noire of the left who brought down Acorn.

What this piece really reveals is the amazing effect these young people are having on the abortion debate in America.

The investigations carried out by Lila Rose and the one just released by David Daleiden show what an increasing number of Americans are coming to see as the inhumane and callously indifferent grisly work of groups like Planned Parenthood. It is nearly impossible to defend against what these videos reveal, so their only option is to go after the messengers.
