Trump to Ramos: Birthright Citizenship Not Guaranteed… Will Build Border Wall ‘Because I’m a Builder’… Illegal Alien Criminals ‘Will Be Deported So Fast Your Head’s Going to Spin’

On Monday, Donald Trump told Jorge Ramos that he would deport illegal immigrant criminals “so fast your head’s going to spin,” build a wall along the border because he’s a builder, and that the law may not be set in stone regarding birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants.

Earlier in Trump’s Iowa press conference, Ramos tried to interrupt Trump, and Trump told him to “sit down” and “go back to Univision” before Ramos was escorted out of the room.

Trump repeatedly told Ramos that “you weren’t called” before security escorted him out of the press conference.

When asked about Ramos later in the press conference, Trump said Ramos was “out of order” and that “I would take his questions in two seconds but he stood up and started screaming.”

“He just stands up and starts screaming. Maybe he’s at fault also,” Trump said. “You can’t just stand up and scream… and this guy just stands up and starts screaming.”

Ramos has said Trump is the “loudest voice of hatred, intolerance, and division” and even accused Trump of spreading “hate” by referring to illegal immigrants as “illegals” and the children of illegal immigrants as “anchor babies.”

“He’s obviously a very emotional person,” Trump said. “I would certainly love to have questions from him.”

Ramos was allowed back in the room and Trump engaged him on various questions regarding illegal immigration.

Ramos told Trump that he could not deport 11 million people, “deny citizenship to the children” and cannot build a wall.

Regarding birthright citizenship, Trump said “a lot of people think that’s not right. That an act of Congress can do it.” He said there was a possibility that it will “have to be tested in the courts.”

Trump said that “some of the greatest legal scholars” believe that it is not right for a pregnant woman to come across the border for one day, have a baby, and “now the baby is going to be an American citizen.”

“There are great legal scholars… that say that is absolutely wrong,’ Trump said. “It’s going to be tested.”

When Ramos pressed Trump on building a wall, Trump said it would be “very easy” because “I’m a builder.”

He said “what’s more complicated is building a building that is 95-stories tall.”

When asked about deporting illegal immigrants, Trump said “we’re going to do it in a very humane fashion.”

“I have a bigger heart than you do,” Trump told Ramos.

Trump said “the one thing we’re going to start with immediately are the gangs” and asked Ramos if he agrees that there are plenty of illegal immigrant criminals or if he just believes that “everybody is just perfect.”

Trump said “we have tremendous crime” and “tremendous problems” and “we have some very bad ones… I think you would agree with that, right?”

Trump noted that some of the gangs in Baltimore, Chicago, and Ferguson “have some rough illegal immigrants in those gangs.”

“They’re getting out,” Trump told Ramos. “Now, if they come from Mexico, do you mind if I send them back to Mexico?”

Trump continued, “These people are out. They’re going to be out so fast your head’s going to spin.”

When Ramos told Trump that “no human being is illegal,” Trump said that “when they cross the border they are illegal immigrants if they don’t have their papers.”

Trump also said he would deliver on his promises regarding illegal immigration because he’s a good manager.

“You’re not used to good management because you’re always talking about government,” Trump said. “Government is incompetent… Guys like Bush and some others that I won’t name are incompetent people–they don’t have it.”
