Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson put to bed rumors that he endorsed Donald Trump for president, saying he is sticking with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.
The Hill reported Robertson appeared with Trump on stage at the Oklahoma State Fair last month, and that sparked media reports he endorsed the billionaire businessman.
“Bobby and I are still great friends, and I told him that I would help him in any way that I can,” Robertson told The Hill at a gala on Wednesday for Angels in Adoption.
“I just literally happened to be in Oklahoma at the time and went over to say hello,” Robertson told The Hill, referencing being on stage with Trump. “It’s early, you know. I’m friends with a lot of the candidates. We talk and share ideas, and we’ll see once this thing is a little closer.”
