A robbery suspect allegedly pulled a gun on a Saginaw, Texas, homeowner Sunday night and died after the homeowner drew his own gun and fired.

Fox News reports the incident occurred sometime after 5 p.m. The homeowner retrieved his gun “after hearing the commotion” and soon discovered two men allegedly attempting to rob him.

CBS DFW reports that one of the two men allegedly pulled a gun, at which point the homeowner drew his firearm and shot the suspect.

The wounded suspect died, and the second suspect was able to flee the scene.

Breitbart News reported that a homeowner in Zachary, Louisiana, also used a gun to defend himself Sunday by shooting an alleged intruder. The alleged intruder in Zachary was naked at the time he made entry into the home.
