Fans to Pick Pin Placement on 15th Hole at PGA Championship

For the first time in history, the PGA Championship will allow fans to pick the location of the pin placement on the 15th hole on Sunday during the final round of the year’s last major.

The PGA will be held at Oak Hill in Rochester, New York, and the tournament begins Thursday, August 8. Fans can participate in the “Pick the Hole Location Challenge” from July 23-August 10.

As GolfWeek notes, fans “can go online at PGA.com to vote for one of four hole locations on the 181-yard, par-3 15th hole. Jack Nicklaus, the 1980 PGA champion at Oak Hill, and Kerry Haigh, the PGA’s chief communications officer, have pre-selected the four options.” The winning location will be used during the final round of the tournament.
