Riley Cooper to Teammates: Don't Forgive Me

On his first day back with the Philadelphia Eagles since taking a leave of absence for racial sensitivity classes, Riley Cooper said he did not want to put the burden on his teammates to forgive him for using the “N-word” at a Kenny Chesney concert last month.

“I don’t want you to forgive me, because that puts the burden on you,” Cooper reportedly told the other players on the team. 

Last week, video footage of Cooper saying, “I’ll fight every [n-word] here, bro,” was published on Philadelphia sports website.
