Richard Sherman Writing 'Sorry Crabtree' Under Autograph

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman continues to mock “mediocre” San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree by writing “sorry Crabtree” under his autograph for a prominent sports memorabilia company.

Steiner Sports tweeted out a photo on Monday of one of the cards Sherman that he signed. The card depicts Sherman’s game-clinching deflection in the NFC title game.

Sherman became a household name and one of the most polarizing figures in sports when he went on hisinfamous rant in a post-game interview with Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews after he deflected a potential game-winning pass from 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to Crabtree in the waning seconds of the NFC title game. Sherman tipped the ball away from Crabtree, as he deliberately does in order to give Seattle’s secondary members a chance to pick off the pass, and it went right into the arms of Seattle defender Malcolm Smith. The two exchanged words after the play before Sherman and Andrews met on the field for their fateful moment.

Sherman and the Seahawks went on to the win the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos.
