American Boston Marathon Winner Had Names of Victims on Bib

American Meb Keflezighi, who became the first American man to win the Boston Marathon since 1983, had the names of four people who died last year during and after the bombings written on his bib.

A year after the tragic terrorist attacks on Patriots’ Day, Keflezighi won the race in 2:08.36.

He had the names of Krystle Campbell, Lu Lingzi and Martin Richard, who died during last year’s Marathon, in addition to police officer Sean Collier, who was killed by the terrorists during the manhunt, on his bib.
