NBA Commissioner: Not Considering Granting Free Agency to Clippers Players

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, after banning Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life on Monday, said the league is not considering granting all of the Clippers players free agency.

“That is not something we are considering,” Silver said at a press conference.

Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander said if the NBA could not force Sterling to sell the team, the league should think about letting all of the players become free agents at the end of the season.
