One of These Things Is Not Like the Other: Clippers Employees Wear Shirts Showing Blake Griffin with Pioneers

Kennedy, Gandhi, Einstein, MLK, Lincoln, Obama, Mandela…Blake Griffin? Apparently, the Los Angeles Clippers would have you believe those things go together.

Clippers employees recently wore these jerseys after Griffin’s free agency meeting with the team.

According to the Undefeated’s Marc Spears, Clippers employees wore the shirts after Griffin’s free agency meeting with the team. Despite the gross historical injustice of likening the pioneer spirit of Blake Griffin to that of those who laid the groundwork for modern society, it just might have worked.  The Clippers did end up re-signing Griffin to the tune of 5 years $173 million dollars.

So don’t be surprised when you see Cavaliers employees in shirts comparing LeBron and Jesus next summer.
