Arizona Cardinals Owner Michael Bidwill has made clear that he still supports President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, despite the number of accusations of sexual misconduct lodged against him.

Bidwill was one of a very large group of people who knew Kavanaugh when he was young and who have come out publicly to support the judge in his bid for the highest court, USA Today reported.

On Wednesday, Bidwill went even farther than simply supporting Kavanaugh by attacking the latest accuser, Julie Swetnick, calling the woman “reprehensible.” Bidwill then insisted that Kavanaugh is a man of “honor, integrity, and compassion.”

“In the extensive amount of time we collectively spent with Brett, we do not recall having ever met someone named Julie Swetnick,” a letter of support released by the White House states. “Nor did we ever observe Brett engaging in any conduct resembling that described in Ms. Swetnick’s declaration.”

“We never witnessed any behavior that even approaches what is described in this allegation,” the letter continued in answer to Swetnick’s accusations that Kavanaugh was a binge drinker who “gang-raped” women at parties.

Bidwell attended Georgetown Prep along with Kavanaugh in the early 1980s.
