Texas Governor Calls for Statewide ‘Stand with Law Enforcement’

Texas Governor Greg Abbott called for police officers across the state of Texas to honor the funeral of slain Harris County Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth on Friday. The Governor asks that all police officers across the state “stand with law enforcement” by turning on their emergency lights for one-minute to mark the beginning of the deputy’s funeral being held in Houston.

Alleged Texas Cop-Killer Charged in Execution of Texas Deputy

HOUSTON, Texas – Authorities in Harris County have identified the alleged killer of a Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy as Shannon Juruary Miles, 31. Breitbart Texas has learned that Miles has an extensive history with law enforcement in Harris County. Miles is being charged with capital murder involving the killing of a police officer. His extensive criminal history includes trespassing, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, evading detention. It appears he had a state jail felony arrest for criminal mischief, but the charge was pleaded down to a misdemeanor charge.

Houston Cops Question ‘Person of Interest’ in Texas Cop’s Execution Style Murder

A “person of interest” in connection with the Friday night execution style murder of a Texas sheriff’s deputy is currently in custody at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The man was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed very early Saturday morning within blocks of where a Harris County, Texas, sheriff’s deputy was shot in the back of the head at point-blank range.

A group of armed members of the New Black Panther Party marched on the Waller County Jail Wednesday afternoon chanting “The revolution is on… Off the pigs,” and “Oink Oink… Bang Bang!” The group of about fifteen Black Panthers exercised their First and Second Amendment rights. The group was met in Waller County by a large contingent of Harris County (Houston) Sheriff’s Office deputies.
