Helsinki summit

The soccer ball that Russian President Vladimir Putin gifted to President Trump during their summit in Helsinki, contains a communications chip, according to Bloomberg.

Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov said on Friday that Moscow is ready to discuss the possibility of President Vladimir Putin visiting the White House, but added it was important to “deal with the results” of the meeting between Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Helsinki before arranging another talk.

Ex-CIA Acting Director John McLaughlin on Thursday characterized Russia’s propaganda efforts on Facebook as a cyber 9/11 in an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams. 

In addition to testing advanced weapons such as hypersonic missiles, lasers, and submersible drones, the Russian Defense Ministry announced new nuclear weapons testing this week, even as President Vladimir Putin was meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Helsinki.

Dan Coats criticized the President’s statements and tactics, and reacted in surprise when informed by Mitchell that Trump was working to invite Putin to Washington in the fall.

I don’t know what Trump said during that two hours when he met privately with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but like so many in the media, I know what I hope he said: Mr. Putin, I need you to publicly admit your complicity in our illegal alien problem.

President Donald Trump proved to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday that he is nobody’s puppet — not Putin’s, not the Deep State’s, and not the establishment media’s. Like the moral strength he showed in Charlottesville, VA, last year, Helsinki should be remembered as one of Trump’s finest moments.
