The Texas Association of Business has released a study that claims a transgender bathroom bills will be devastating for the local economy. They urge Texas lawmakers not to enact any “discriminatory” legislation. A Texas senator called the claim “wild speculation.”

Texas Pastors Slam Georgia’s Demand to Review Sermon Notes

HOUSTON, Texas — The head of a national and state pastors organization based in Houston said, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Georgia’s demand is even worse than when the Mayor of Houston demanded 17 different categories of materials, including sermons, from the seven of us.” The pastors say they are outraged about the State of Georgia asking for copies of a pastor’s sermons in litigation there.

Texas AG to Target: Show Me Your Safety Policies

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a letter to the chairman of the Target Corporation asking him for “the full text of Target’s safety policies.” The AG wrote, “As chief lawyer and law enforcement officer for the State of Texas, I ask that you provide the full text of Target’s safety policies regarding the protection of women and children from those who would use the cover of Target’s restroom policy for nefarious purposes.”

HOUSTON, Texas — A survey from Rice University says that 52 percent of Harris County (Houston area) residents have now declared themselves as Democratic or to lean Democratic. Only thirty percent declare themselves to be Republican.

Transgender Activists’ Wrath Falls on Texas Photographer

A small business photographer in Texas who made a poster against men being in women’s restrooms, has been threatened and her business has been attacked by transgender advocates. The poster has gone viral but Facebook has suspended her Facebook account. Her business “rating” on Facebook has “fallen” to 2.8 stars.

‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Attended Houston Megachurches for ‘Photo Ops’

HOUSTON, Texas – While in Houston filming his reality TV show and making other stops, “Caitlyn” Jenner and members of his film crew attended two megachurches whose pastors had been very vocal against Houston’s proposed “bathroom ordinance.” Rev. Dave Welch of the US Pastor Council called the events at the Christmas services, “photo ops.”

Washington Post Spins so Men Can Enter Houston Ladies’ Rooms

The left of center Washington Post has entered into a city election campaign involving LGBT rights and access by men dressed as women into women’s restrooms. The Post’s “A perverted campaign against LGBT rights in Houston,” assaults ads shown in Houston, Texas, opposing a city ordinance that has been dubbed “the bathroom ordinance.” The author writes, “What goes too far is this bigoted ad and its perversion of the facts. It is an outright lie to say ‘any man at any time could enter a woman’s bathroom at any time simply by claiming to be a woman that day.’ Such a statement reveals a willful ignorance of what it means to be transgender.” The ordinance has been submitted to the voters in Houston during the city’s November election. Pastors Descend on Texas Capitol to Support Bill Protecting Them from Performing Gay Marriages

Pastors from all over Texas are descending upon the Texas Capitol today to support a Texas House Bill that protects the rights of certain religious organizations and individuals when refusing to perform or to recognize a gay marriage. The Texas Pastor Council has issued a Call to Action for “Pastors At The Capitol” for Wednesday, April 22nd. They will be attending the House State Affairs Committee hearing on H.B. 3567 to “begin challenging the false narrative of the Texas Association of Business that Texas can’t be both business friendly and protect the religious freedom of the people.” The Texas Pastor Council is a part of the United States Pastor Council (USPC).
