Palestinian Authority Erects Monument Honoring ‘Refrigerator Bomber’

JERUSALEM – Ignoring Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request not to honor terrorists, the Palestinian Authority erected a monument on Sunday in honor of the mastermind behind the 1976 “refrigerator bombing” in Jerusalem, with Palestinian officials expressing their hope that it will inspire young minds to continue following the path of “legendary martyrs.”

Palestinian Columnist On Tel Aviv Terror Attack: Armed Struggle Harms Palestinians, Exposes Leadership’s Helplessness

In the aftermath of the terror attack at Tel Aviv’s Sarona complex, a Palestinian columnist writing in the London-based daily Al-Hayat condemns the methods of Palestinian armed resistance, claiming that even though attacks like the one in Tel Aviv have elements of “heroism and sacrifice,” they ultimately do more harm than good in advancing the Palestinian cause.

TEL AVIV – Following the terror attack in Tel Aviv’s Sarona market, Palestinian daily Al-Ayyam published an article claiming that while Palestinian armed struggle must be “ever-present,” spontaneous acts such as the Tel Aviv shooting warrant a reexamination of their benefits.
