Migrant Death Toll Continues to Rise Under Open Border Policies

The Texas summer heat and the U.S. government’s open borders policies continue to take their toll on the lives of illegal aliens crossing the border from Mexico. This week, Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents carried out the rescues of 15 migrants and recovered the body of one deceased migrant.

New Relief Effort Records First Saved Migrant Lives in South Texas

A new program aimed at saving the lives of lost migrants recorded its first saves this week. The program places unique signs at key locations instructing lost migrants to call 911 for assistance. The calls help Border Patrol agents save time in the rescue and apprehension of those lost.

‘False Compassion of Open Borders’ Leads to Deaths in Texas County, Says Sheriff

A Texas sheriff tasked with recovering the bodies of illegal immigrants who die while being smuggled around a checkpoint 80 miles from the Mexican border says the “false compassion” of open borders is to blame. More Migrant Remains Discovered in Texas 80 Miles from Mexican Border

The death toll of illegal immigrants abandoned by human smugglers in South Texas continues to rise with the this week’s discovery of two sets of human remains. Border Patrol agents and sheriff’s deputies recovered the remains of the deceased migrants in two counties approximately 80 miles from the Texas border with Mexico.

Border Patrol Agents Helping Families Identify Remains of Deceased Migrants

Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector teamed up with other law enforcement agencies to help families in their attempt to identify the remains of migrants who died after crossing the border from Mexico. The agents are participating through the Missing Migrant Program.

Officials in one South Texas county report finding the remains of two migrants in the ranchlands surrounding a Border Patrol checkpoint. The deaths are the first two reported in this county for 2018.
