Texas Teen Mentor Convicted on Child Pornography Charges

A Texas teen mentor and founder of a nonprofit youth organization pleaded guilty Monday to the charge of sexual exploitation of a child, also known as production of child pornography, announced Abe Martinez, acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas.

A Texas coastal resident has been sentenced to fifty years in federal prison after pleading guilty to producing child pornography. The man and his girlfriend had advertised on Craigs List saying they would provide babysitting services. He was found to be engaging in producing child porn when authorities investigated a call for sexual assault of a child.
