How Liberals Avoid Tough Questions on TV: They Cover Their Ears

If you’re a liberal and you don’t like the questions you’re getting in a TV interview, what do you do?  If you’re Leo Terrell on Wednesday’s Hannity, you simply cover your ears to pretend you aren’t listening.

Of course, we say pretending not to listen because, when you are engaged in a remote interview like Terrell is in this clip, you have an earpiece to hear the host. You can see the earpiece in his left ear as he pulls his dramatic move on camera.

We don’t blame Terrell for pretending he couldn’t hear the rest of the interview.  After all, he was trotted out onto Fox News to argue in favor of newspapers publishing the private information of registered gun owners and to make the case that in some way this would have stopped the Newtown massacre.  If you’re stuck trying to make that argument, it’s probably best to shut out any facts and pretend you can’t hear the logical arguments with which you are faced.
