Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) said he did not agree with President Donald Trump that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s meddling during the 2016 election is a “witch hunt.”
Tillis said, “I’m not sure I agree with the witch hunt, and we’ll let the facts lead us to whether or not it was a hoax or distraction. We are where we are, and I want to see this investigation concluded so that we can get on to doing the good work the president has already started with regulatory reform, health care, and tax reform. This is a distraction I would like to get past, so I could go back to supporting the president’s agenda.”
