Herschel Walker: NFL Should Ban Protesting

NFL great Herschel Walker thinks the NFL needs to “take control” of the national anthem protests.

Walker said that if players want to protest, they should do it in the offseason and he would gladly join in with them, but players should not protest on the job because it will hurt the business.

“I think they need a league-wide rule that everyone who protests, protest off the job,” Walker told TMZ Sports.

“Commissioner [Roger Goodell] has got to step in and say, ‘Guys, we have advertisers, we have sponsors, we have a lot of people that this is a job,'” he added.
