Monday at the Council on Foreign Relations, National Intelligence Director James Clapper was asked about the Obama administration’s refusal to call ISIS Islamic.
Clapper said he understands President Barack Obama is speaking to the 1.7 billion Muslims around the world, but he added in the intelligence community, “We need to be as accurate as we possibly can and call things, in many cases, what they call themselves.”
