Border Patrol Agents Report Heavy Drug Trafficking by Illegal Aliens in May

Border Patrol agents working in Arizona and California report that drug trafficking by illegal aliens has been very heavy in the first days before May. Yuma Sector agents arrested 43 illegal aliens and seized almost a ton of marijuana valued at approximately $1 million. Wellton Station Border Patrol agents arrested 58 illegal aliens and seized 1,225 pounds of marijuana. Two of these illegal aliens had been deported.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a letter to the chairman of the Target Corporation asking him for “the full text of Target’s safety policies.” The AG wrote, “As chief lawyer and law enforcement officer for the State of Texas, I ask that you provide the full text of Target’s safety policies regarding the protection of women and children from those who would use the cover of Target’s restroom policy for nefarious purposes.”

A woman who feigned pregnancy and cut a seven-month unborn baby from a stranger’s womb has been sentenced to 10o years in prison by a Colorado judge. Thirty-six-year-old Dynel Lane used a kitchen knife to perform a cesarean section after she lured victim Michelle Wilkins to her home. Lane had placed an ad for maternity clothes on CraigsList.

2 Texas Toddlers Found Chained in Backyard Like Dogs

Two toddlers were found chained like dogs in a Texas backyard late Thursday night. Six other children were found unattended in the San Antonio home. One of the toddlers was chained to the ground, and one was tied with a dog leash, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

MS-13 Gang Member Murdered a Young Mother and 2-Year-Old

A MS-13 gang member was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison for his part in murdering a 19-year-old mother and her 2-year-old son. Rene Mendez Mejia, who goes by the name “Zorro,” lured Vanessa Argueta and her son, Diego Torres into a secluded wooded area in Central Islip, New York, on February 5, 2010. Two other MS-13 members were with him when they executed the pair.

McLennan County Vows Fight with Texas AG over Concealed Handgun Signs

McClennan County Commissioners are defying instructions by the Texas Attorney General to remove 30.06 signs prohibiting licensed gun owners from carrying a concealed handgun into areas in the courthouse and annex where they are permitted. The dispute is over common areas where Texas law says it is legal for license holders to carry handguns. The commissioners have hired lawyers to fight the directive of the attorney general.
