Adm. Mullen Gave Cheryl Mills a Heads Up on 'Weak Witness' Charlene Lamb

During today’s congressional hearing on Benghazi, Rep. Jim Jordan asked Admiral Mullen about his decision to give Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff at State, Cheryl Mills, a heads up that one of the people who had been called to testify before Congress on Benghazi was “a weak witness.” This happened just a week after Mills had called Mullen to ask him to co-chair the Accountability Review Board.

Charlene Lamb is one of the four individuals who was put on administrative leave last year after the ARB report was published. She has since been assigned to other duties at State.

Cheryl Mills name has also come up previously during the investigation of what happened in Benghazi. Gregory Hicks testified to congress that Mills instructed him not to allow Rep. Chaffetz to interview anyone during Chaffetz’ trip to Libya.
