Common Core Goes To Church in Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin-area Catholic school parents are fuming mad at their archdiocese’s decision to implement federal Common Core (socialized education) education standards in their schools.

The Common Core debate has reached a fever pitch around the country, with some states backing out of their past support for the education standards.

This one concerned parent may have just summed it all up for Catholic school parents across the country,

“If I wanted my children to have a public school curriculum I would have sent them to a public school…”A Catholic school’s priority is to prepare children for Heaven, not for college.”Heather Schweitzer, Catholic school parent-turned home-schooler (Fox News)
