Kirsten Powers: I've Given Up Explaining Why Obama Does Some Things

USA Today columnist Kirsten Powers declared that the president’s statements that incumbent Democratic Senators up for re-election in 2014 have been loyal supporters of his policies on Friday’s “Kelly File” on the Fox News Channel.

“I’ve kind of given up trying to explain why he does some of the things that he [Obama] does, because it doesn’t make sense. Because I do think he understands what they’re [incumbent Democrats] doing. The only thing I can say is that, I think he is simultaneously trying to get the voters out there who do like him, and there are voters out there who do like him, African-American voters actually like President Obama and he needs them to turn out for these candidates. And so it’s this very fine line of them distancing, but also making sure those Obama voters turn out” she said.
