WaPo’s Capehart: Taking Away Assignments Is ‘What a Speaker Does’

On Saturday’s “Up” on MSNBC, host Jonathan Capehart commented on the Speaker of the House of Representatives, telling Suzy Khimm of The New Republic that being a dictator and taking away committee assignments is “what a speaker does.”

“Suzy, you said something to me; John Boehner was acting like a dictator and taking away committee assignments. That’s what a speaker does!” declared MSNBC’s Capehart.
