An Enterprise Rent-A-Car employee in Missouri has been arrested for allegedly dosing his co-workers with LSD to stop their “negative energy.”

Police in Arnold, Missouri, said that a 19-year-old employee at the branch put the illegal drug in the water bottles of his co-workers because they were bumming him out. The employee was arrested and charges are pending, awaiting the results of chemical analysis of the bottles, KMOV TV 4 reported.

Police say that the young employee admitted to dosing his co-workers because of their “negative energy.”

Police were called after the dosed employees began feeling nervous, shaky, and dizzy.

Sgt. Tony Dennis, with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, explained the symptoms of the drug, saying, “You’re going to have an increased heart rate, temperature, and higher blood pressure. It’s been described as causing the shakes or tremors before.”

Sgt. Dennis also noted that it is impossible for people to know if their drinks or food is dosed because LSD is odorless and colorless.

“You can also just use that liquid form to ingest it orally with drops under the tongue, or you can put some drops in somebody’s drink,” the Sgt. said.

The employees had no negative effects after the drug wore off, police said.
