IT Company Cuts Ties with ICE After Employee Sabotages Systems in Protest

Chef, a company that helps companies manage their technical infrastructure, has cut ties with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after one of its employees sabotaged the company’s systems in protest of its government contract. The employee deleted computer code from the company’s systems, impacting its ability to support its customers.

A Brooks County Sheriff’s Office deputy faced the gruesome task of recovering the half-eaten remains of a migrant who died on a Texas ranch about 80 miles from the Mexican border. The migrant is the 36th to have lost his life attempting to circumvent the Falfurrias Border Patrol Checkpoint on U.S. Highway 281.
