US, British Special Forces Ordered to 'Smash the Islamic State'

British Special Forces are forming a special unit with U.S. Delta Force and SEAL Team Six to “smash the Islamic State.”

The unit, Task Force Black, will be targeting the command structure of the Islamic State in a bid to “cut the head off the snake.”

The Mirror quoted a sourced as saying, “Defeating [Islamic State] cannot be done by air strikes alone. You have to get on the ground and take out the commanders.”

One of the first jobs of Task Force Black will be identifying the man who beheaded American journalist James Foley. He has been given the nickname “Jailer John” because of his role in guarding those whom Islamic State kidnaps. He already occupies a top stop on a CIA “kill list.”

Another central priority for the task force will be finding Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who is “now the world’s most wanted terrorist.” On August 18 Breitbart News reported that al-Baghdadi has been given the nickname “the Ghost” because of his ability – heretofore – to elude those searching for him.

Task Force Black was used to take out al-Qaeda in Iraq during the Iraq War, and they plan a similar approach against Islamic State, one that uses intelligence to undergird efforts to take out the Islamic State command structure. This will include capturing certain persons in the command structure for interrogation, leading to more intelligence for Task Force Black operations.

British News reports that the CIA will lead Task Force Black.
