In a wide-ranging interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “Hateful Eight” star Samuel L. Jackson bemoaned the fact that the two terrorists in San Bernardino who butchered 14 innocent people were not white. “I can’t even tell you how much that day,” Jackson said in reference to San Bernardino, “I really wanted that to just be another, you know, crazy white dude[.]”
After making that statement, Jackson, a “lifelong Democrat,” accused Donald Trump of running on “hate.”
“When that thing happened in France, we were sitting there going, ‘Oh, my God, these terrorists!’ And I can’t even tell you how much that day the thing that happened in San Bernardino — I was in Hawaii — how much I really wanted that to just be another, you know, crazy white dude, and not really some Muslims, because it’s like: ‘Oh, shit. It’s here. And it’s here in another kind of way.’ …
So how does he reconcile this attitude with the fact that the heavy favorite for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 is his occasional golfing buddy Donald Trump? He grants that Trump is running on “hate” but adds, “There’s absolutely nothing I can do.”
He’s already made up his mind about his own vote in 2016: “I’m forever a Democrat, you know, and I’m gonna vote for Hillary.”
Jackson also smeared veterans as unfit to be police officers due to PTSD.
