A woman is accused of trying to murder her Craigslist date after she set up a date at a Washington hotel with the intent of eating his heart.

The 24-year-old met her alleged victim at a Rodeo Inn motel room in Lynwood before she stabbed him in the chest, WJW reported.

Police said she repeatedly asked if the man, 29, was a murderer before she took out her own pocket knife.

“Well, I’m a serial killer,” she reportedly announced.

The woman, whose identity has not yet been released pending formal charges, slashed and stabbed her date several times as he tried to escape, KOMO reported.

The victim, who insisted that he met the woman on a dating website and did not just meet her for sex, escaped his attacker and called police from the motel office.

The man told police that he had a difficult time fighting her off because of her weight, and that the two did not get into an argument or altercation before the attack.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries, including a punctured lung, but is expected to recover.

Police found the woman in the parking lot with the knife still in her pocket.

When police questioned her, she said she wanted to become a serial killer and stab her victim to death.

“I’m a loon,” she reportedly told police when they interviewed her.

She also told police that she planned to eat her date’s heart.

Officers say she even wrote a note that she planned to leave on his body, saying she would kill again.

The suspect has not yet been charged, but a judge ordered she be held on $1 million bail.
