Nats Game Delayed Because Umpires Got Stuck in Traffic

Fans in Washington, D.C. that went to see the Washington Nationals play the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday had to wait for the first pitch to be thrown because the game’s umpires got stuck in traffic.

The first pitch was scheduled to be thrown at 7:05 p.m. ET, but the game began at 7:20 p.m. ET because the umpiring crew of Chris Guccione, Tom Hallion, Ron Kulpa, and Phil Cuzzi did arrive at the stadium in time.
