Rays Suspend Prospect for Throwing 50 Cents at Stripper

Josh Sale, a prospect for the Tampa Bay Rays, was suspended indefinitely this week after he bragged about throwing 50 cents at a stripper.

As reported by Tampabay.com, Sale posted this message on his Facebook page: 

“Threw 50 cents at a stripper tonight. First time. Got kicked out and she got so (mad) thought she was gonna cry. Your a stripper. Be thankful.”

Sale was the Rays’s first-round pick in 2010 and “recently completed a 50-game suspension after testing positive for a performance enchancing drug.”
