Strasburg Leaves Game with Injury

Washington Nationals superstar pitcher Stephen Strasburg left the game in the second inning on Friday night with an apparent injury. The Nationals were in Atlanta playing the Braves.

According to the Associated Press

The right-hander grimaced after throwing a changeup to Brian McCann, the sixth batter he faced, with one out in the second inning Friday night.

Strasburg has had a history of arm injuries, and the Nationals were resoundingly criticized in some circles last year for not allowing him to pitch in the playoffs to save his arm. He has struggled at times this season, especially in the first inning.
