Tennis announcer John McEnroe said the classic five-set match between seven-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, the world’s top-ranked player, may have been the best match he has ever seen at Roland Garros.
He said it was simply the “best match I’ve ever witnessed at the French Open.”
In an epic showdown, Nadal beat Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7 (3), 9-7.
