Jose Canseco Cleared of Sex Assault Charges

Las Vegas police have cleared former Oakland A’s superstar Jose Canseco of sexual assault charges and have reportedly closed the case.

Canseco was a “person of interest” in a case on May 22, and he vehemently denied the allegations in a series of tweets that day in which he named the apparent accuser and posted a picture of him with his alleged accuser. He also tweeted out what may have been her personal and work phone numbers.

The former baseball star was never arrested during the investigation and reportedly passed two polygraph tests. 

Canseco has said “he was falsely accused and is considering filing a civil lawsuit seeking damages against his accuser.”
