Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia briefly shook hands on Monday at Merion Golf Club, the site of this week’s U.S. Open.
Woods and Garcia have been feuding since the Players Championship, and the feud escalated when Garcia, at a European Tour awards dinner, said that if he ever invited Woods over for dinner, he would serve him “fried chicken.”
When asked about their interaction on Monday, Woods simply said, “I’m not going there.”
Woods will address reporters at Tuesday’s news conference.
