Abbas Rages Against Trump Peace Plan in U.N. Speech

TEL AVIV – The map featured in President Donald Trump’s recently unveiled peace plan for a Palestinian state side by side with Israel is nothing more than “Swiss cheese,” Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday in a damning condemnation of the proposal which he said obliterated Palestinian rights.

Naftali Bennett: Israel, U.S. Working to Prevent Iranian Corridor

TEL AVIV – Israel and the U.S. will work together to combat Iranian terror in the Middle East, Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said following a trip to the U.S., with the task being divvied up so that Jerusalem will work to curb Iran’s entrenchment in Syria while Washington will combat the Islamic Republic’s presence in Iraq.

Palestinian Official On Trump Plan: ‘These Are Terms of Surrender’

TEL AVIV  – Senior Palestinian official Saeb Erekat on Thursday charged the Trump administration’s peace proposal with being a “copy paste” of a deal offered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2012, and added that the recently unveiled plan is essentially President Donald Trump’s and Netanyahu’s saying “you lost, we won.”

Jordan’s King Abdullah Warns U.N.: Palestinians Must Have Their Own State

King Abdullah II of Jordan addressed the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday with a speech consisting largely of rhetorical questions designed to stress the importance of global issues such as climate change, economic disparities, terrorism, and especially the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which he said can only be resolved by giving the Palestinians their own state.
