A new video from Prager U shows UC San Diego students celebrating Marxist revolutionary and assassin Che Guevara.

In a new Prager University video, students at UC San Diego praised Marxist revolutionary and assassin Che Guevara. Guevara was second-in-command to Fidel Castro, who killed 10,000 people during massacres that took place during the Cuban Revolution.

Now, UC San Diego has a coffee shop on campus called the “Che Cafe” that is named after Guevara.

“A great man, from what I know,” one student said, “everything that he did, he did for the Cuban revolution. Even the way that he died, he was a badass.”

“I’ve listened to an interview by Che, it seemed passionate. It seemed like it was rooted in human rights,” another student said.

That student went on to argue that capitalism has ruined his life. “I’m American. I’ve been in the neoliberal capitalist system that we live in for 21 years now,” the student said. “I’m very poor, I’m a minority. And, yeah, there’s just a lot of different ways that capitalism has genuinely ruined my life or my family’s.”
