Rand Paul was on Fox News to talk about the 400 missiles were stolen in Benghazi and ended up “in the hands of some very ugly people.” Washington attorney, Joe DiGenova made the bombshell revelation, yesterday on WMAL.
He claimed his information “comes from a former intelligence official who stayed in constant contact with people in the special ops and intelligence community.” He said the biggest concern right now is finding those missiles before they can be put to use. “They are worried, specifically according to these sources, about an attempt to shoot down an airliner,” he claimed.
Rand Paul said, “I’m concerned about surface to air missiles obviously being in the hands of Islamic radicals. I’m also concerned was Hillary Clinton telling the truth or was she saying, “Well maybe it’s classified, maybe I won’t tell the truth.”
He indicated that he had contacted Chairman Issa to press for her to testify before his committee.
“She needs to testify under oath”, he said. “Did she know about this and did it have anything to do with the misdirection campaign and did she have anything to do with not allowing the Marines to go aid their wounded brothers there in Benghazi… This should preclude her from holding higher office.”
Some might cynically suggest that this is the political posturing of a political rival, since Paul himself is said to be seriously considering a run for president in 2016. Or, just possibly, he’s as appalled as the rest of us, that this woman is considered the front runner after her disgraceful and disastrous tenure as Secretary of State.
